This kalimba instrument music is handmade by an instrument maker from a small village in Bali and Java Indonesia.
This is the original handwork as they still use the old method, all done by hand from cutting,
shape, assemble until it's done.
We have different types of traditional musical instruments in Indonesia.
The sound of this instrument is very beautiful and soothing.
Because the material comes from nature and is made by hand, the size can't be exactly the same.
The kalimba is a very good musical instrument, but other than that
decorative, unique, artistic and eye-catching as a decoration in your home.
You pluck the metal tongues with your thumbs and you get a fine sound.
The resonance body of this thumb piano is made of coconut shell with a wooden lid.
